Real priorities for District 1, focused on public safety, local business, infrastructure, and restoring respect at City Hall.
I will always support our officers and firefighters. I have the record that shows I will always advocate for our cops, whether it is hiring new cops, or updating their equipment. I will always ensure our police have the tools they need to keep us safe, including proper training, a homeless task force that connects residents to real help, and partnerships with regional leaders to keep Cypress safe.
We have vibrant businesses in District 1 that sometimes feel left out. As councilwoman, I will work to support and incentivize more local business spotlights, and partner with our business owners to ensure they are getting the support needed to create jobs and keep our taxpayer dollars in Cypress.
Cypress is lucky to be fiscally stable. I believe we need to revitalize our infrastructure, especially roads that need repair. I'll create a streamlined process to fix potholes and finish projects on time and on budget.
As CEO of We Care, I see firsthand how our students need more resources to feel safe, comfortable, and ready to learn. It is our duty to make sure every Cypress kid has what they need to thrive, because they are the future of our city.
Our city has lost who we are. Current council members would rather focus on their personal goals than the goals of the community. Cypress has lost our small-town vibe because of division. We need to get back to a City Council that has decorum, respect, and takes responsibility for their own actions. As councilwoman, I will ensure all voices are heard with respect, and that concerns are answered in a timely manner.
Cypress is on solid financial ground today, and I will fight to keep it that way. That means transparent budgeting, honest accounting, and spending taxpayer dollars only where they will produce real value for Cypress families.
These aren't talking points, they're commitments. Help us get Anne on the council so we can get to work.
